As Gypsies have a natural affinity to music, they play a host of varied instruments. At different times and in different countries they have mastered the lute, harp, balalaika, accordion, drums, and many other instruments. However, hardly anyone would object to the statement that the instruments most characteristic of Russian Gypsies are guitar and violin. This section is devoted to them.

Here you may see the biographies of the true masters and, if you wish, hear their performances. However, there is no need to lock ourselves within national borders. Instrumental Gypsy music from Spain, Hungary, France and other countries will also be included in the "Guitar and Violin" section.
